About me
In 2011 I walked into a maker space in Brooklyn called NYC Resistor for a class on laser cutting. That class changed my life. After 15 years of designing interactive experiences for websites, kiosks, and phones, I longed to create the tangible, access to a laser cutter gave me the ability to take my pixels into the real world.
Leafy lamps are custom lamp creations that base their visual look on the digital reinterpretation of pleasing organic forms. Leaves and fronds are a primary inspiration for our lamps but we’ve also been known to venture off in the direction of twigs and blobs.
